Dada Hari Vav
Stepwells become social & resting places, symbolic associations of ablution, and journey to the womb, which transform the mundane act of fetching water into spiritual experiences.
I traveled around Western India that is similar dry climate to Australian.
I visited some places whch ancient practices/ technologies for precious water are seen.
The pictures above show stepwells built in 1501 in Ahmedabad.
Though it remained unused ruined structure, it multiples functions the place used to have.
